Since its birth in 1992 InterCal has grown to become arguably the largest
accredited calibration facility in Southern Africa. With SANAS accreditation
in seven fields of metrology including electrical, frequency, RF, mass, pressure,
temperature and humidity, InterCal is focussed on providing calibration facilities
to all areas of industry.
The instrument sales division now supplies test and measurement equipment
from a wide range of manufacturers including Fluke, Tektronix, Agilent, MajorTech,
Tektronix, Datataker, Onset and TopTronic, to name just a few.
Equipment rentals are also available at competitive rates for both short and long term
requirements and for the budget conscious, a range of fully guaranteed refurbished
equipment can meet most equipment testing needs.
InterCal currently occupies over 400m2 of office and laboratory space in Midrand,
Gauteng with a total staff compliment of nearly 30; 60% of whom are technical staff.
Offices in the Eastern and Western Cape along with regular on-site visits both nationally
and throughout Southern Africa ensure that customers throughout the region are well looked after.
